Requirements
Before any new pup can join the pack, new clients must first register online.
All dogs must be fully vaccinated for Bordetella, Distemper (DA2PP), and Rabies. Official vaccination records- including a copy of your dog’s Rabies Certificate signed and dated by the attending veterinarian- are required. All vaccinations must be up to date at the time of registration.
Additionally, dogs over 6 months of age must be spayed/neutered or present a letter of medical exemption from a veterinarian, which extends the cutoff to 8 months old.
Following registration, you and your pup will be invited to schedule a free, mandatory temperament trial. Trial playdates are 3 hours long.
Daycare and Boarding
Tails of Manhattan is a kennel-free facility.
Dogs are separated into our playrooms by size, weight, and temperament. Both our Little Dog Room and Big Dog Room are staffed 24/7 by one or more of our certified Canine Companions.

All boarding dogs sleep together overnight in the Big Dog Room, separated by size with room dividers. Beds and blankets are provided. A Canine Companion is present in the room overnight with the dogs.
GROOMING
Currently, Tails of Manhattan offers limited grooming services on Fridays for pups within our care. At this time, our services include: baths, brush-outs, ear care, nail care, and paw pad care. We use Hydra Professional Line luxury grooming products: high-end, high-performance, and specially formulated using only the finest, quality salon ingredients, as well as select other products. ToM also has additional products upon request for dogs with sensitive skin.
Vaccination records for Bordetella, Distemper (DA2PP), and Rabies are required, including a copy of your dog’s rabies certificate signed and dated by the attending veterinarian. Dogs solely booking for grooming do not need to pass a temperament trial.
